Course Overview

Course Aim
The aim of the Level 1 course is to introduce candidates to the basics of the rope access industry to allow them to work under close supervision of a level 3 supervisor. The course is intended for candidates with little or no experience in rope access techniques. Candidates will be able to carry out various rope manoeuvres including rigging, checking personal equipment basic rescues and height related legalisation during the 4 days training, followed by a one day assessment.

Pre requisites
Age: Minimum of 18 years old.
Medical: Self Certification or Dr’s Certificate.
Previous experience: Nil
Duration
4 days training and 1 day assessment.
Course Description
By the end of the course candidates will be able to carry out various rope manoeuvres under the supervision of a level 3 supervisor, including rigging, checking personal equipment, basic rescues and height related legislation.
