Course Overview

Course Aim
The aim of the level 3 course is for candidates in excess of 1000 rope hours as a IRATA level 2, to build their experience as a Level 2 technician and progress to the Level 3 supervisory role. The course is intended for candidates to take responsibility for the safe efficient running of a rope access site, and any Level 1 or 2 operative under their supervision.

By the end of the course candidates will be trained and assessed in level 1 and 2 techniques and additionally more advanced rigging and rescue procedures, candidates will have knowledge on current legalisation and how this is used to enforce a safe working environment. Level 3 candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate to show they are competent in undertaking emergency first aid.

Who Will Benefit

Pre requisites
Age: Minimum of 18 years old. Medical: Self Certification or Dr’s Certificate.
Previous experience: must have minimum of 1000 hours and at least 1 years varied experience as a level 2 working under the IRATA ICOP, with a signed up to date logbook verified by an IRATA level 3 supervisor.

Course Description
